One of the most beautiful fortresses in Romania. Unfortunately, it is not included in UNESCO but worths every minute spent here! Don't forget to climb to the top of the tower, but take care with the functional bells!
Harghita is the „Mineral Waters' Land”. So this is a kind of unique exposition that presents the history of discovery, the baths in the region, the tourism developed around the mineral water springs. It is not big, I spent here 15-20 minutes.
Corond is known as a huge ceramic workshop. You can still find some families that open their workshops to the public. It is simply amazing stay and watch how objects are manually made and decorated! Also, here the ceramic is very cheap, I paid 20 lei for a huge mug! Watching the people working is free :) The price I've put here is a total of tree objects bought from their store.
One of the best accommodation I've ever had in the area. It is quiet, nice, next to the forest. The yard is so big, the river crosses it! The also has a playground, tennis court and barbecue. Aaaand a kind of wooden pool with hot salted water! The price is for two nights, but is better to rent the whole villa for a group of friends (5 rooms). The very-famous-steam-train passes behind the yard two times per day! <3
